OWE routing -- running out of segments
 

hi guys, i hv a little problem sorting out my OWE itinerary which i hope i can get some help on ...

i am currently in SIN, and need to go to KIX, then back to SIN, then on to ORD. departing from BKK is about 3975usd, HKG is 5028usd, SIN is 4402.

based on this, i was thinking of flying myself to bkk. then do bkk-hkg-kix-hkg-sin-hkg-jfk-ord ... but this will violate the 4segment rule in the originating continent, and i dont think i can get additional segments.

can anyone suggest another routing?

can't think of anything except buying a separate ticket (one way should be fine?), if it's a 3-cont...but if you are interested in visiting south pacific as well, then maybe you can do something like BKK-HKG-KIX-HKG-SIN-SYD-...-SYD-JFK-ORD...

If you have time, you could do the Europe segments after SIN and before ORD, i.e. go RTW from SIN in the other direction.

even if saimike goes in this direction, in the end he still would face the problem again when he goes back from US to BKK, i.e. no direct flights from US and BKK and he still needs one final segment in Asia ?

Yes, tedhl, you are right. My suggestion postpones the problem but does not solve it.
