changing a global explorer in an oneworld
hi flyertalkers,
A few months ago we bought a global explorer ticket 34.000 miles. After a lot of travellerstalk, I want to ask if somebody knows if itīs possible to change this ticket for an one-world 4 continent ticket. I only used a Cairo - Santiago sector with Iberia and a return to the Falklands with Lan Chile, which are accepted with both tickets. My explorer ticket includes going from Santiago the Chile to Papetee in Tahiti and furter on to New Zealand. In a oneworld ticket can I fly return from Santiago to Tahiti ? I wonder this because changing the ticket can give us more options in Africa and can save us money. Thanks Whaleshark |

Check the purchase conditions of your ticket with the agent - airline from whom you bought the ticket. They may want to charge you full fare for the sectors flown, and give you any money left over or ask you for more money, and then start again with a OneWorld Explorer ticket |
