BA or CX's J ?

Hi!
I read the different between the actual seat..i.e. BA's good for sleeping and CX's good for watching movies... overall I think I rather prefer CX's in-flight.
However, as an AA EXP I never got a chance to try the T4's spa (I mean the actual spa, not just for shower) until the coming J-class ticket.

So, the question is, is the spa experience deserve me to trade BA over CX?

P.S. Route:
BA LHR-----MEL
BA LHR-HKG + CX HKG-MEL
CX LHR-HKG-MEL

Any vote?

Thanks!

I greatly prefer CX over BA but wind up using BA on this route precisely because of the MB Spa (and Concorde Room). But you don't get the Concorde Room in J.

they r close, but i prefer cx's service.
so the lounge determines my LHR outbound.
for ex-hkg, i wd choose cx.

Agreed with above. I recently did almost the exact routing of your option 2 - LHR-HKG (BA) HKG-MEL(CX) - best of both worlds.

But gotta say I got less sleep HKG-MEL than LHR-HKG due to WB. BA seat is better, CX service and IFE is better.

MB Spa is great. Concorde Room is good but would not be a decider for me personally.

Thanks for help!

MB Spa... I am coming...
and with such a long connection in HK... HK-UMICH can meet his friends as well!
(Maybe a Karaoke Lunch in TST?)

The spa is fine, but not that special. It would not be the deciding factor for me by a long way.

If you want to sleep - BA
If you good entertainment - CX
If you want to eat and drink yourself into a stupor - CX by a short nose.

Well put Swanhunter. I share the opinion about CX for entertainment, but from a YVR-HKG J flight the other day, the movie selection is not too good at present.
