Help me!(routing DONE4)
I want to book a ticket in cairo. I want to know that this route is possible.
cairo-london-casablanca-madrid->quito-santiago-easter-santiago-rio/punta arenas-santiago->auckland/christchurch-brisbane-alice springs-darwin-Adelaide/sydney->tokyo-hongkong-bangkok-bombay-bangkok->london(transfer)-cairo 1. Is it possible stopover in madrid? I think it's the third stopover. If I can't stay in madrid, This is my another plan. casablanca-london(transfer)-rio/punta arenas-santiago-easter-santiago-quito/santiago->auckland Which one is better? 2. bangkok->london(transfer)-cairo is just a booking. I don't want to go to cairo. Can I stay in london? I want to go from london to russia.(fot siberia train) 3. How can I get Russia visa?(I'm a south Korean) My plan is apply for a visa in canberra and take it in Korean Embassy, london. Is it possible? Or another better way? Please tell me. 4.I'm in South Korea. So I want to know about BA in Cairo. I want to know about there phone number, fax number and "E-mail adress". Please tell me. Thank you for reading. Tell me anything about my route and visa or so. Sorry for my poor English. |
If you are stopping for greater than 24 hours in London and Casablanca, then you cannot spend more than 24 hours in Madrid as it would be a third stopover in your continent of origin.
You do not have to return to Cairo although there is a possibility that BA will audit your ticket and demand payment for all the separate segments. This is a possibility but not a probability. Others have skipped the last segment on a RTW without any problems. I do not think you will be able to apply for a Russian visa in one country and pick it up in another. Why not just apply in South Korea before you leave? I'm traveling and do not have the BA CAI information with me. However, you should be able to find it easily here using the search function. Try searching "Sobhi" as that is the name of the lady in CAI who handles the RTW tickets. They do not publish an Email address so you will have to call them and FAX them your information. |
Thank you Exmo.
Russia visa has a dew maybe 6 months. I go to Russia about 10months later after I leave. So, It's no use to take it in Korea. Are there any problem? like too many stopover in another continent... or more efficient route... Anyway Thank you so much! http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif [This message has been edited by HANALEE (edited 11-02-2003).] |
i guess u r buying a 1-way ticket LHR-Moscow?
if that is the case, you might want to switch it a bit. i.e. make MOS part of your OWE ticket. e.g. CAI-LHR-CAS-MAD----.......-LHR-[CAI]inbto CAI-LHR-CAS-MAD-..........BKK-(on AY)-HEL-(jump plane there)/lhr-[CAI], from HEL u can take the ferry to Estonia(Tallin) and take the train from there as exmo indicated, u can spend 23 hours in MAD or CAS, or any city in your trip for that matter, it won't be counted as a stopover. ------------------------- cairo-london-casablanca-madrid->quito-santiago-easter-santiago-rio/punta arenas-santiago->auckland/christchurch-brisbane-alice springs-darwin-Adelaide/sydney->tokyo-hongkong-bangkok-bombay-bangkok->london(transfer)-cairo |
Can't do either one of those routings. Only two flights to or from london to Cairo and Morocco. That's three.

a search on OW tripplanner shows IB flies to CAI. hope it is not code-share with non-OW carrier
so it could be cai-mad-cas-lhr..RTW....-hel//lhr-cai. |
Your first option has 5 segments in SA which would require purchasing an extra segment. The second option has 4 segments in SA and would be OK.
