OW ticketing issue HEL-DKR

Hi!

Is there a OTA that could be used to ticket OW (Iberia/Finnair) combinations?
Desperately trying to find a price for HEL-MAD-DKR and Iberia wont allow to price it, as the HEL-MAD is on AY metal and Finnair wont allow to price it as MAD-DKR is on IB metal.

The OW booking tool finds the flights but moving from there to Finnair finds a 404 and Iberia cant find prices.

A real travel agent could do this is seconds. Don't they have them where you live?

Sure, talked to to a few yesterday. Silly prices.

What amazes me, is that there isn't an easy way to book OW tickets on two carriers. Or that I can't find it... Which makes me sad...

There is no fare for this itinerary. Split ticketing is required. Only a travel agent would be able to put two tickets in the same PNR for through check-in and bag check. I see at least for the next few months that such itinerary involves an unavoidable overnight in MAD anyway, so you might no need through check-in and bag check.

An OTA could do this easily if you were prepared to use *A or the SkyTeam. But I guess this is not preferable.

A TA ought to be able to issue as a single ticket. The fare will simply be additive. Unless one carrier or the other publishes a fare for the route, that is what you get.

OW has nothing to do with this. Any carrier with which AY interlines may be on the same ticket. It may just be very, very expensive.

You can use Matrix to find fares for specific flights, and then call either a travel agent or either of the airlines to book the trip. Even if the carriers' web sites don't let you book such a trip, calling them should work.

E.g., I used a search for

Departure: HEL
Advanced control: AY,IB+
Arrival: DKR
Advanced controls: IB,AY+

To search for flights using Iberia or Finnair from HEL to DKR and back.

Thank you all.

We'll go to other carriers.

Really, this itin cannot be issued in one ticket under normal condition:

From what I see, possible only when the HEL-MAD flight is booked as a code-share (IB*/AY) and the fare is 3311EUR, booked in Y.

That's what I saw as well. Quite expensive.

I have to admit, it's not the most frequented routing.

But.

I would have thought that these two airlines being in the same alliance, would bring at least some benefits to the traveller. ST can handle this HEL-DKR return on two airlines and *A even over three different airlines.
