Is this a valid Circle Pacific itinerary for Oneworld?
YVR AA X/DFW AA X/LAX QF SYD CX HKG CX YVR ?
OR YVR CX HKG CX SYD QF LAX AA X/DFW AA X/YVR ? My main problem is figuring how to get from Australia -> Vancouver vv. without violating the fare fules. (AA does not fly YVR-LAX, and QF between YVR and SYD does not have First Class) |
QF hasn't flown to Canada for about 1 1/2 years.

I am also trying to work this out. I only need to visit SIN and NRT.
I can fly out of SEA and YVR. What about YVR - DFW - LAX - SYD - SIN - HKG - NRT - DFW - YVR or change YVR for SEA. Thoughts or help on this routing? Thanks [This message has been edited by cxn (edited 08-03-2003).] |

A legal CircPacific 22000 mile fare is:
SYD QF AKL QF LAX QF DFW AA YVR CX HKG QF SYD. Stopovers in DFW, YVR and HKG. This will be a problem in F (no QF F AKL-LAX-DFW). Otherwise, fly SYD-LAX to get F. |
Thanks everyone.

At 25,995 miles according to the Great Circle Mapper, this is bumping up against the 26,000 mile fare limit. Depending on how the ticketing airline figures mileage, they may want you to buy a 29,000 mile ticket. If it goes over 26,000, changing the origin to SEA should solve the problem.
