How complete/useful is the OneWorld Electronic Timetable?

Hi

I just downloaded the latest version of the Oneworld Electronic Timetable. I thought it might be handy to print out various timetables for sectors so I could work out departure/arrival times and flight numbers as I am making reservations on my OWE5.

Digging a little bit, it doesn't seem to list IB flights going direct EZE-MAD for example. The only listings it gives are AA and LA flights going EZE-MAD via bizarre connections like MIA and JFK.

It this electronic timetable worth using, or is it missing a whole lot of information?

Thanks

I didn't know OW published one of their own. I use the Cathay one. As a software product, it's quite poorly written, and the database isn't perfect, but it's a useful starting point for rtw planning.

Others have pointed out that AA has one as well.

Did you download the timetable at http://www.oneworldtimetable.com/oneworld.exe written by Goldenware? If so, that one shows the IB flights EZE-MAD as nonstops.

Depends which routes / carriers you're looking at and how far ahead of travel. I've generally found it pretty good for BA, QF and AA, but patchier for AY, CX and LA. IB tends to be OK for intra-European routes but not so hot on LH.

It's worth using electronic versions from AA, QF and CX alongside paper-based timetables from the rest.

Yep, that's the one I have...

I found my problem...well, it's not exactly my problem, it seems if you select dates that are beyond what it has schedules for, it displays 'No Flights Found'. I should have thought of that.

Not to worry, I'll see if they have another updater closer to the date I leave

Thanks!

First, chances are decent that the flights won't change. Or at least not significantly. Second, if you look on Expedia, Travelocity, or the aeroplan site, you can see if the flight is loaded onto the crs networks. If so, then the flight exists.
