OWE: Some Surface sectors forbidden?
Was looking over the rules and see surface sectors appear to be forbidden in Asia and many other places. Was hoping to do quite a few of these. Anyone have luck booking surface sectors in Asia, or experiences being told no elsewhere in the world?

The rule section you quote pertains to originating and terminating your trip in different countries. You are correct that there are only very limited provisions for doing so in Asia. However, there is no prohibition on surface sectors within Asia (or any other region) that are internal to a OWE trip, i.e. not at the start or end but in the middle.
