AONE4 Routing Question
Regarding routing of a AONE4 ticket, originating in HKG, going Asia - Europe - America - Australia - Asia.
On the way from SYD back to HKG, would it be allowed to go SYD - HKG (transfer less than 24 hours) - SGN - HKG (end). Or would the whole trip immediately end when arriving in HKG, meaning no further segments allowed? I see no other reasonable OW connection SYD - SGN - HKG without going through HKG in between... Thanks a lot! |
Once you arrive back at your starting point the ticket ends. Two rules to confirm this:-
49N . 4. ONLY ONE INTERNATIONAL 50N . DEPARTURE AND ONE 51N . INTERNATIONAL ARRIVAL TO/FROM 52N . THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN IS 53N . PERMITTED. 105N . 10. TRAVEL MAY NOT BE VIA THE 106N . ORIGINAL POINT OF ORIGIN 107N . EXCEPT FOR ORIGIN AUSTRALIA 108N . IN CONJUNCTION WITH TRAVEL 109N . TO PAPUA NEW GUINEA WHEN ONE 110N . IS A TRANSFER WITHOUT 111N . And you can't go Hong Kong to Vietnam on the Explorer tickets anyway.

Thank you for the quick answers!
I wonder why HKG - SGN flights are forbidden, I recall the same was true for award tickets on CX. |
