Ticketing in Cairo
 

FWIW, a FT'er emailed to say the BA Travelshop in Cairo handwrote a 20-segment ticket in about 4 hours, and seemed very shakey on OWE rules. I don't know how much advance work was done/is possible on the booking.

I was able to book through the BA US RTW desk. I had numerous calls and FAX's w/BA CAI regarding some itinerary problems that London said I had (they were wrong). The CAI office contacts London for any questions which is why you need to get everything agreed to up front, before you journey to CAI.

Well I managed to issue a 24 segment ticket prior Apr 15 automatically.

But it was not with BA though.
