Please take a look at this.
I have this F RTW trip plan for May. Please take a look. Am I maxing this out. Can someone give me a idea about putting all of the domestic flights on the back end of the trip with max miles? I would then fly out on CX to HKG from LAX. Thanks in advance. Here it is- smf to dfw to bos to lax to hkg to kix to hkg to dps to hkg to syd to per to mel to akl to syd to hkg to lhr to ist to lhr to dxb to lhr (lgw) to dfw to anc to dfw to smf. It is all legal according to AA. Prices out at 9k.

It's legal as far as I can see with the caveat that the SYD-HKG-LHR must be a transit in HKG, as must all but two of the stops in N America. Flying JFK to HKG (CX) would get you more miles for the transpacific leg, and LHR to LAX similarly on the way back if you can rearrange your N America segments to fit that.
You can also get more miles by: - flying HKG-AKL something like this for max miles in Aus: HKG-AKL-MEL-PER-DRW-SYD-LHR - in Asia there are a number of longer runs than KIX and DPS: consider KHI, CMB, BOM or CTS though KHI & BOM may require visas. I think you cannot do SYD-PER-MEL since only one of those long haul is allowed in Aussie.
Also, instead of bos-lax, try, on the return. LHR-SJU-xxx and spend a day or two in SJU is not bed either. |
