BA GRU - EZE

Apparently BA will now fly the GRU - EZE route as a tag to the LHR - GRU route as of April 1. A few questions:

1. is it true that BA will operate this GRU - EZE service?

2. will they have local traffic rights that you can use on a OWE?

3. can anyone find the flight details and times?

4. Any idea if we can get AA miles or will it be like BA's refusal to give miles on intra-South American AA flights?

thanks,
rich

I wasn't aware of any BA ban on giving miles in other oneworld programs for these segments. I recall flying BA between SCL and EZE a few years ago when that service was offered, and had the flight credited to my CP account in one direction, and my AA account on the return. [This was during one of those wonderful100K promos for flying 5 or 6 oneworld partners.] I thought the prohibition was only on transAtlantic flights, not their "stumps"?

Back to the original issue.......

Rich, I checked the BA flight schedule and see that indeed in May, there are BA flights every other day or so from GRU to EZE. They leave GRU at 7:10am, arriving in EZE at 9:55am. Sadly, YOU are MY OneWorld expert, so I am unable to be of any intelligent help.
