RTW Question
Can anyone share info on a RTW (as cheap as possible) originating at LAX around Jan/Feb 2003?
Thanks in advance. |
When you say as cheap as possible, you're a bit vague....
What cities are you going to? What airlines do you fly with? Which direction? What time of year? What class? There are many topics on this "RTW" bit. Why don't you dig a little deeper instead of just letting us do the homework for you? |

http://members.shaw.ca/fewmiles/oneworld/ This forum is a lot different from the AA one, you should research a lot more on your own and only ask specific questions after first searching and reading posts going back a few months. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif The links above should cover the basics, including approximate pricing. Once you know the basics people really love to help with routings and other decisions if you define your question well. If you ask too many vague newbie questions though they'll throw tomatoes. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif |
As has been stated, you need to supply some more information and do a bunch of primary research in the various message threads here.
That said, here's something to get you started. You can save about US$1,000 by originating in Canada rather than the US. The 4 continent coach fare from Canada is around US$2,658 while the same trip originating from LAX is US$3,700. These figures are based on current exchange rates and exclude taxes, airport fees, etc. |
The short answer for an "as cheap as possible" rtw (for cash, not awards) is "see the consolidator ads in the Sunday LA Times."
