Does anyone know whether you have to clear immigration in a transit in Buenos Aires???
I'm flying wiht AA and connecting to a Lanchile flight and I have about 1 to 1.20 hours to do it? is it enough time? do I have to go to immigrations like in the US (even though the US is the only country i know that does that...) thx |

Darren is correct. You come off your flight, head down the hall toward immigrations and branch off at the transit sign just before the escalators going downstairs to immigration. It is very well marked; you won't miss it. There, you go thru a security check point and take escalators to the floor for the departing flights. The LanChile and the AA lounges are fairly close together, so you will have your choice if your status or class of service gives you access. The airport is nice, modern, and very pleasant.

Add to this that LANChile are excellent about posting ground staff to meet transferees off the long haul flight.
