Well not at the travel agent I use. They assure me they get 7% from Cathay and still get 9% from one or two airlines. However, they only get 5% on domestic flights and nothing at all on domestic US flights (hence the "booking fee" that many TAs charge now on purely domestic US itineraries.

I could quote you specific fares from http://www.cxagents.com were it not for the fact that that might identify my source since many of the commission levels are agency specific.
