I know I have read something before about 'area 1, area 2 and area3', but I've forgotten and was hoping someone might be able to define the countries that fit into each area.
Also which airlines have the codes GF and PH?

Don't remember which area is which... but the three areas are: the Americas, Europe/Africa, and Asia/Australia. For RTWs, you go through all three areas, blah blah blah... http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

GP = China General Aviation

PH = Polynesian Ltd

Area 1 is Americas, 2 is EMEA, 3 is Asia + Pacific

GF (since that is what you asked for, not GP) is Gulf Air.
