Oneworld Pilots to Leaflet At Airports in U.S. and Abroad Regarding Anti-Employee Treatment

WHO: Oneworld Cockpit Crew Coalition, which is comprised of the pilots who fly for the oneworld Alliance airlines

(Aer Lingus, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LanChile, Qantas, and Swiss).

WHAT: Leafleting at select airports around the U.S., as well as in Ireland and Hong Kong. American Airlines pilots will be on hand at the U.S airports to provide their perspective regarding a trend of employee intimidation among the oneworld carriers.

Central. Note that all telephone numbers provided for the pilot representatives are cellular numbers - each pilot will arrange to meet news media representatives at specific airport locations.

WHY: OCCC pilots are concerned about a trend developing among the member carriers of intimidating employees who raise safety and security concerns.

Yesterday's USA Today features a quarter page ad from the OneWorld Pilots Coalition detailing their greivances against the OneWorld carriers (save for Finnair and Quantas, who seems to be not on the coalition's list). Interesting read.
