travel.com.au is offering an RTW ex-Australia from $2,070 AUD using Swiss/Crossair/Qantas. One stop in North/South America, one stop in Asia, Zurich, and one more European stopover.

Not bad pricing, considering you could route this through EZE.

That particular RTW is no longer being offered. In fact, all RTW fares with Swissair have been terminated till Crossair comes up.

The RTW you're referring to is in fact with AA/SR/QF/FJ.

I asked (at the Swissair and again at the Crossair counter in term A ZRH) today, and there is (and probably won't be any Swissair/Crossair/SWISS rtw offer until the new (probalby oneworld) Alliance partnership is decided (expected to be announced by the end of this march-2002, with the beginning of the new Summer timetable).

Well, it might be old news, but travel.com.au just started selling them last week, and the rules clearly state the carriers - check the site.

Don't know. Drop them an e-mail and ask, they're quick on response - I've used them a couple of times.

New QF/AA/FJ/LX RTW ticket is effective 07MAR and in all classes. Published prices ex ADL/BNE/CNS/DRW/MEL/PER/SYD are AUD11699, AUD8279 and AUD2889 for F, J and Y respectively.
