Circle Pacific Business Class on 2-Class "AA F class flight"?

Having just read the fare rules for the DCIRCLE1 (Business Class) Circle Pacific fare, can anyone tell me whether travel on a domestic US 2-Class AA flight entitle me to a seat in the "First Class" (which really is a Business Class) cabin? This issue dosen't seem to have been addressed in the fare rules.

I remember reading some rules for other fares and there was always an exception for North American 2-class flights.

iirc, I checked this sometime ago with a travel agent and I believe that you do not get accomodated in domestic F on AA. Even so, if you are an AA elite you can use stickers or miles to upgrade like any other paid for AA flight.

I guess I should book the Qantas codshared domestic AA flights just to be safe. (Both A and D class pax get accomodated in AA F class on a two class aircraft).

Do QF have D inventory on domestic AA flights that you will be available to book on a Circle Pacific?

Cool.

This is actually very interesting inventory number - AA shows more to QF than it shows to ITN (I guess Apollo). QF, in turn, shows all to Apollo...

Another trick learned :-)

Actually, they're both showing the exact same things to Apollo. Max inventory available in the premium cabins.

A full availability display for AA actually looks like...

F7 X7 A7 Z4 C7 J7 D7 I3 R3 U3 Y3 B3 K0* H0* G0 Q0* M0 V0 L0 O0 T0 S0 N0-*WL

[ That's Flight #150 TPE-SJC on Aug 8 [

2 Many Miles - that's an international flight though. Daniellam has highlighted an interesting anomaly on a domestic flight between the actual AA flight and the QF codeshare. So, if you can book the QF codeshare in D class where will they sit you? I assume of course that to book the QF codeshare would mean that you have a ticket which includes a QF international flight later.

2 many miles

How did you display all the info for a flight? Do you need special access to Apollo?
