Asia Miles - CP flights that earn miles
 

FYI, this is what I heard from an Asia Miles desk agent this afternoon.

CP codeshare flights operted by BA and AA are not eligible for Asia Miles (CX's FFP) point accumulation.

In Canada, Canadian Regional flights are eligible but other CP franchise such as Ontario Regional are not eligible.

Among CP's economy booking classes, Y and R are counted 100% for Asia Miles.

B, H, K, M, N, W, V and Q are counted 50%.

Are the 50% mles for discounted economy worldwide or just for domestic flights within Canada?

The above fares do only accrual 50% of miles subject to a 250 mile minimum within Canada not only on CPlus but on AAdvantage and presumably BA Exec Club Canada too

The 50% rule applies for all members worldwide and for all fares on all airlines (OneWorld partners and regular airline partners).

Asiamiles really only benefits those who fly in First, Business and the occasional 'Full" economy class fares.
