Help for 1K Bonus
 

I haven't been checking out webflyer for a while due to exams.

My brother is travelling to New York in a few weeks on QF and will be in N.Y. for a few months. Can anyone tell what was decided the cheapest and/or quickest way to get 1K bonus from JFK/EWR/LGA, seeing that he already will have QF under his belt.

JFK-YVR-JFK on CX is about $350

LGA-YYZ on CP is around $150 (web fare) (advance purchase would be a bit higher)

LGA-somewhere on AA you could find for around $100

JFK-LHR on BA for about $300

So you could get 200k miles for less than $1000.

if your brother has two accounts, (i assume one would be qf) its probably best if the second is aa or cp. then he could do:

jfk-lhr on aa - $400
lhr-man on ba - around $150
lga-yyz on cp - $150 web $190 non web (book cp livery only)
man-ams on cx - $330

same less than $1000, but he can pick up three carriers on one trip to europe.

if his second carrier is ba, transatlantic could be jfk-man on ba, and then aa web saver jfk-phi or jfk-bos usually are around $79.

QF is a bad choice for this promo as you only get a 100k Kilometer bonus instead of 100k Miles bonus that AA,CP,BA etc. offer.
