Yes. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/27795114-post24.html Also, as I noted in this thread I arrived from JNB and noticed there is a door prior to immigration for doing international transfers.

That's different. At JNB no one checks if you have a visa for Mozambique. Whether anyone at DOH would check I don't know. Some countries don't allow TWOV if you are doing a return to the same country.

According to TIMATIC DOH-MPM-DOH is allowed but I would confirm before trying it.

Mozambique - Transit Visa
Visa required.
Transiting without a visa is possible for:
Holders of onward tickets.

Because then, of course, it's not really a transit at all. It's the end point of a roundtrip.

Done this twice. Easy.

Great to hear! Can you provide some details?
Which airline?
From where?
Same PNR?
Did they check you in both ways before the flight to MPM?

I linked to beardoc's post up thread. Looks like he was connecting onto QR, but doesn't mention from where.

It wasn't clear that he was on QR, nor does the post mention from where or if it was one or two PNRs.

R2asked if it was possible to do a same-plane turn, and mentioned QR. beardoc answered the first part but didn't mention if it was on QR or not.

This post? http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/27795114-post24.html

He specifically mentions QR twice, which means he used QR each time he connected. Since he also replied that he did returns on the same carrier twice then we can assume he did DOH-MPM-DOH. The only question is if it was one PNR or two.
