No priority baggage handling for BA?

Does anyone know since when do BA stop tagging other OW members bag priority bag? :confused::confused::confused:

And.... More importantly.... Why is this allowed? Will there be a network-wide pulling of priority bag handling then?? :confused::confused::confused:

I think you'll find they tag them for priority on check in. They just don't give them any actual priority at Heathrow (and maybe elsewhere).

+1, that's my experience, they tag the bags, but it does not always result in the bag getting any priority treatment. To be fair, I can say the same about any airline.

When priority baggage was added as a OW benefit in 2014 or so, BA was excluded at that time.

I fly on most of the OW members (AA/AB/BA/CX/IB/JL/MH/QF) frequently. Priority bag tagging is useless. For every time that my bag shows on the baggage belt among the first, it shows on the belt among the last. Same story every airline.

Have you landed at HND ?
IMHO, it depends on ground handler issue.

At the baggage claim, I have observed good priority baggage handling.
In my experience, CX,QR,JL,NH are good at priority handling at HND.

When I claimed CX's priority baggage handling at HND, a person at CX Tokyo office phoned me and asked the situation in detail.

Have only departed from HND, not landed there. I land at NRT (did last week).

It depends on how the bags are loaded and how they are unloaded. At many airports these are contract workers who handle bags for many different airlines. At the arriving airport all they care about is separating connecting bags from terminating bags and then sending them off in the correct direction.
