One world lounges at TBIT

I'm flying QR in business from lax-doh next month. Also I'm AA EXP. What lounges can I access at lax?

Unfortunately QR uses terminal 2 not TBIT at LAX. Your only lounge option is the Air Canada lounge. Unless you want to go to TBIT early, go through security, access the lounges, then leave the terminal, walk outside to terminal 2 and re-clear security. Not worth the headache in my opinion.

As noted, QR uses the Maple Leaf Lounge. The link to this info at oneworld.com:

Sure is, but I'm pretty sure it's the only one currently in that terminal for now, so that's why QR uses it.

Its not that unusual for an airline to hire a lounge at an airport for their first, business & status passengers. That lounge may, or may not, be operated by an airline from the same alliance. At times an airline will rent front the other side, even when an alliance airline has a lounge at the same airport terminal. Its all about the money, money - money.

Interesting! I'm not going to schlep it over to TBIT. I've never been in a MLL Hopefully they have Molson on draft. Lol

I have a 2 hour 40 minute layover at DOH and would like to shower. Is there a one world lounge with showers there?

It is probably not the thread for this question.

However, this page:https://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-access indicates the "Qatar Airways Business Class Lounge" has showers, as does the "Qatar Airways First Class Lounge".

What class are you travelling?

QR and RJ use the AF lounge at ORD. JL uses the AF lounge at JFK...
