Lost luggage

I have just moved to Budapest and had two big pieces of luggage with me holding everything I own, one of them is lost, I filed a report in BUD and I can track it on BA missing baggage website, they claim to be looking for it.

Problem is, I lost a lot, I normally wouldn't be this concerned but its half of everything I own, including gifts of personal value and all of my winter clothing, its -12ºC outside and I can't wait weeks for this to be solved.

My flight was CNF-GRU-LHR(with Latam) and LHR-BUD(with BA), what is the better way I can contact them here? I need them to provide some assistance considering I lost too much.

What does your travel insurance policy have to offer?

It does have coverage for 3000 BRL in case of lost luggage, I don't know if that is paid after the airline searches for it and does not find it though, but thanks for the reminder, I have sent an email to my travel insurance provider.

Typically, the last carrier is who is responsible and who you should be filing your claim with.
