AA booking with BAEC info

I'm not sure if this should go here, or the AA forum, or the BA forum, but I am sure the powers that be will move if necessary.

I am BA Silver but travel mostly in the US on AA/US flights. (We use BAEC due to the Chase credit card and annual trips to Europe.) Because I have status with BA and not AA/US when I book these flights I generally do so through the AA site but input my BA number along with my TSA Pre-Check number. However when I do this I have to input all of my contact information each time, have a near 0% success rate with Pre-Check, and my flights don't know in my AA site as upcoming trips. It's obviously not a huge problem but its a little of a hassle.

Is there an easy solution to this? Or is this just an annoying thing I have to deal with each time I fly?

I believe the AA site will only prefill user data if you use your AAdvantage FF number (not your BA number).

You could do this and then switch to your BA number for elite recognition on BA and better seat selection, etc.

Obviously AA would prefer your loyalty be to the AAdvantage program; that's why they favor those customers with pre-filled forms, phone ID recognition, special rez numbers, and so on.

If most of your flying is on AA you might want to consider status there. The AA Platinum card from CITI currently offers 50K bonus on sign-up. Status match is also available for a fee, and challenge miles.
