Best European lounge for stag party?
 

Just out of personal interest: Which European OW lounge would be the best fit for a stag party with a preferable departure in the late evening to other places in Europe, snacks and unlimited booze flow? Dunno if I can get enough OWEs together for a party on the Flounge terrace, so a OWS lounge should be better.

Interesting criteria for invitees to a stag.

Why not all fly First from LHR and use the CCR? It would be the perfect venue for such a party.

And I suppose if you are inviting a lot of people from work, there might be enough OWS guests to get the remainder of the party into a lounge

Maybe CWS isn't scheduled to fly to / from there for the rest of the year ;)

I feel sorry for anyone else wanting to use the lounge :D

I'd imagine your best bet would be a OW hub, if you want entry for pax departing to a variety of destinations.

HEL has a nice, fairly new premium lounge (OWS/OWE only) in the non-Schengen area with champagne and other wines and spirits as well. There's also a newly renovated Finnair lounge in the Schengen area, which serves sparkling wine and a variety of other wines and liquors. Both lounges are fairly quiet outside the morning and afternoon rush hours, and have decent food/snack offerings.

Only problem I can see is somewhat limited departures in the late evening.

How about MAD as well, it's been a while since I visited the Dali lounge but I heard the offering is quite good these days.

I assume that was a joke, since the lounge there (one of the few I've experienced) is tiny and drab!

BCN has a pool table in the games room if that helps.

does anyone else find this morally objectionable? Regardless, if you try to use a lounge for a party, you should be prepared to be kicked out.

I have been in a lounge on 2 occasions where a stag group managed to get in - once at LPL and the other at MAN - both Servisair lounges. The party guests were paid-for admissions.

It soon became apparent what the chaps were doing, drinks were going down at an alarming rate. LPL decided to 'man' the bar and after 40 minutes refused further drinks to the now rather boisterous stag doers. They started to remonstrate but were ejected from the lounge with the assistance of the police.

At MAN, after the party had twice been told to keep the noise down, at the third time they were also evicted. As they were leaving there was a barrage of abuse directed at the lounge agents along with bad language and gesticulation.

Both groups were warned that their alcohol consumption would be monitored and limited as appropriate.

OBVIOUSLY THIS IS TONGUE-IN-CHEEK, but...

Ask everyone to book a fully flexible fare to any longhaul destination which offers F.

Then, drink in the CCR for a number of hours, before cancelling the flights and receiving a full refund. If anyone asks, you cancelled your flights due to inebriation.
