One World and Qatar lounge access question

I have an interesting trip coming up LHR-KEF-JFK--EWR-MBJ-LGW and have OW Sapphire and QR Gold status.

Will be travelling in a mix of W and J with IcelandAir (LHR and KEF, United (EWR), and Virgin (MBJ).

Question is what lounges will I be able to use at each departing airport if any?

My travelling partner doesn't have any FF status.

Grateful for any insight.

This really is the wrong place for such a basic question!

None of the airlines you are travelling with are oneworld airlines, so your status means absolutely nothing. You will not be able to use any oneworld lounges while travelling with Icelandair, United, or Virgin.

You will have to ask each airline (or better: check on their website) to see what lounges they use in whatever airports you will be departing from with each individual airline.

You will not have lounge access on any flights in Economy class - lounge access is granted only in advance of those flights for which you are travelling in business class. Ask at check-in. You really don't need to know anything about the lounge until you get there.

I guess every forum has it's fair share of relatively inexperienced posters and those that know it all.

No need to get snippy OP. Your question was answered in great detail.
You can also go on the website of the airline you are flying in business class, which will likely have information about lounge access.

Well if you don't like the previous answer you can read the rules yourself here:

If W in the OP means the premium economy cabin, note that there are some airlines that do grant lounge access for passengers ticketed and confirmed in this cabin class or that permit such departing passengers to pay extra to access the lounge.

UA has lounges at EWR and gives access for departing passengers confirmed in international business class. However, you need to check whether MBJ is considered to be international for the purpose of lounge access, which might depend on whether the flight is marketed as business first etc. Some airlines make exceptions for Caribbean flights and do not give lounge access for these leisure routes.

Of course whether or not any of these non-oneworld airlines provides lounge access based upon class of service has nothing to do with OP's oneworld or QR status. If the OP is concerned about lounge status on these other airlines it might be worth perusing the forums for those airlines or the airline websites themselves.
