OW Ruby Bonus on BA
Hi all, Im new to the forum.
Im a Silver member (Ruby OW) with Iberia. Havent done any flights since 1st april so 0 elite points in Iberia for this year. Im going to do a flight from CCS-MIA-LHR-DXB round trip. Doing calculations I would earn aprox 27k miles and 920 elite points if I put my Iberia FF. And 22k miles and 400 status points if I use my BA FF that I have never used. Using the BA i get the points to Bronze which is the same as Silver in IB but not the extra 25% bonus for being Ruby with Iberia. My question is since Im a Ruby member already can I claim that extra 25% to BA ? Can I check in in the Business check in desk if I use the BA FF and show my Iberia Card?? Thanks for the replies!
