Seeking TA with OneWorld knowledge/experience

We're planning an Asia trip for next September/October, and I'm looking for TA help with a relatively complicated J class ticket ex-HAN or ex-CMB back to the U.S.

I'm seeing some very nice QR and AA fares ("nice" means little or no cancellation fees, low change fees, "unlimited" stopovers, open returns etc.), but I don't want to deal with either a specific airline's ticket desk (it's always uncomfortable explaining why you'd prefer their partner's metal, or their metal but their partner's codeshare flight number) nor one of the big online TAs (they typically don't cater to refundable J-class fares, and often do not offer enough flight segments for stopovers).

This board provided me an outstanding recommendation for an ICN based agent a few years back (when OneWorld fares from ICN were great bargains), but I suspect that the location of the agent is of no importance for our itinerary next year. If specific names and personal experience is inappropriate for public consumption, please feel free to PM me. TIA!

You have reviewed the ex-CMB thread in Mileage Run haven't you:

The extraordinary F fares ex-CMB do appear to have disappeared (we booked our last one in 2012 on emirates.com), but with QR having now joined OneWorld, there are lots of fine J alternatives that weren't being offered even a few months' back. QR's website is a horrible place to book anything but the simplest one-way or roundtrip flight, but their fares ex Vietnam and Sri Lanka are quite attractive (if the fare rules can be believed). Hopefully someone here is, or has, an experienced agent they can recommend who could ticket a multi-stop trip (for pay, of course). Thanks!

The extraordinary F fares are gone and they were replaced with decent fares with less flexibility. The biggest difference was they are R/T only, no more pricing on a half R/T basis.

The AA fares are generally more flexible as they are MPM vs. routing fares and allow other carriers.

Sadly, not anymore.

You didn't check J. Since the OP was talking about QR he could only be looking at J. ;)

I just realized my post is was confusing, but yes, the F was replaced and ultimately replaced again.

J fares there. But not as flexible as the old fares. Basically AA feels that if you want to stopover and fly with any airline, one can pay full fare J which is close to $4000 oneway now.
