MH73 with A380 or CX797 with A330?
 

Hi,

I am trying to book a business class award for one-way from HKG to CGK.
I got a couple options, but the best ones I saw:

Direct flight 4 hours 40 mins with CX797 A330. 19:10 departure

Indirect via KL, MA73 with A380, 2:45pm departure, but takes total almost 8 hours with transit.

Is MA73 with A380 business worth a try for 3hrs 40 mins flight from HKG to KL?

I would go with CX nonstop. Granted, I would love to try the A380 but it's not worth the extra 4 hours to get to your final destination. What if the connector is delayed? It'll be longer than what you had expected. Also, the MH J lounge at KLIA is nothing to write home about.

Now, if you were going to KUL, I think that choice would be obvious. MH A380 all the way!
