oneworld miles on EK

Hello

Can't find an answer to this anywhere. If I book a QF flight (ticketed) but operated by EK metal, do I get oneworld miles and status credits? I can't find the answer anywhere.

Thanks

There is no such thing as OneWorld miles
Every OneWorld airline has it own frequent flyer program that earn miles/avios/points/etc. They all have different rules

A QF flight(number) on EK metals earns QF points.
Can also earn AA miles for a QF flight number on EK metal. Look on the AA forum post 80, but YMMV. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/ameri...age-miles.html

QFF earns points and status credits on EK metal with QF code.
AA earns miles as posted above.
BA earns avios only on EK metal with QF code, not Tier Points.

Earning points/miles/avios and status/tier points on QF coded EK flights will depend on the rules of each FF program. The QF coded EK operated flights are not oneworld flights.

How about QF operated but EK code on DXB to SYD - any AVIOS earning?

No.
From ba.com:

Executive Club Members can collect Avios on the following flights:
•Flights marketed and operated by Qantas or Qantas Airlines affiliates under the QF designated code
•Flights marketed by Qantas (QF) but operated by Jetstar booked as oneworld fare in L class only
•Flights marketed by Qantas or Qantas Airlines affiliates and operated by BA or another oneworld carrier under a codeshare agreement

Since 31 March 2013, Executive Club Silver and Gold members no longer accrue a Tier bonus when flying on Qantas.
And:

Terms and conditions

Codeshare flights booked under the code of a British Airways partner airline but operated by an airline who is not a British Airways partner are not eligible for Avios or Tier Points. Flights booked under the Qantas QF code operated by a non-oneworld airline will accrue Avios but not Tier Points.
