What are the OW programs that have 'gift a status' option?
 

I vaguely remember that BA has such option if you reach one of their ultra high levels. Would want to know what is available across the alliance. Also is there a limitation (only to family members etc)

Qantas has partner gold.

JAL has it for the top tiers but you can only gift it to your spouse

Enrich has it for the top tier, and only for the spouse.

Just to be pedantic, that has "morphed" into "Complimentary Gold Membership" for "a family member or friend" as being one of the options for "Platinum Member additional benefit".

i.e. If nominated, it does not have to be the member's 'partner', it can be anyone known to the member (who is not already Gold or Platinum).

So the outcome of this thread is that QF and BA have such 'give to friends' options, any others?

QF Gold is Sapphire
QF Platinum is Emerald

You need to earn 2,400 Status Credits on QF (which is double what it takes to retain QF Platinum/Emerald) to get the Complimentary Gold (Sapphire) card.

It seems then the only OW program that has gift Emerald is BA, correct?
