Hi all - thanks for your help to date! My trip is ticketed, however I just received notice of a flight change and was hoping for some suggestions. Here is my current itinerary:

AA: JFK-LAX-OGG (3 nights in Maui, 2 nights in Kauai)
QF: HNL-SYD (3 nights in SYD)
QF: SYD-AKL (2 nights in AKL)
QF: AKL-CNS (via SYD) (3 nights in CNS)
QF: CNS-BNE-SIN (2 nights in SIN)
CX: SIN-HKG (2 nights in HKG)
CX: HKG-DXB (2 nights in DXB)
BA: DXB-LHR (2 nights in LHR)
BA: LHR-JFK

Unfortunately our CNS-BNE-SIN flights were changed and we were automatically rebooked on a Qantas flight that departs CNS at 5:30AM. Since we only have 3 nights at the Great Barrier reef and we are staying in Port Douglas (1hr + ride from CNS), I don't think a flight that early is feasible. No other one-stop options are available to SIN without an overnight connection. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can rearrange the itinerary to make it work considering the short amount of time we will be spending in each destination? It will be our first time visiting each of the destinations, however we are open to switching destinations if necessary. I spoke to an AA agent today who is willing to work with us to waive any change fees. Thanks in advance!

I assume you're now on QF799/QF51?

You could get a flight to SYD then onto QF5 or BA16, getting into SIN mid evening. However the CNS-SYD flights would be QF coded JQ flights with no D.
Another option is CX, CNS-HKG-SIN, which would get you to SIN around midnight...
