BUD lounge access?

I'm flying LCA-BUD-SVO next week on a Malev-marketed ticket. The LCA-BUD leg is operated by Malev, and the BUD-SVO leg is operated by Aeroflot, with a 5'15 layover between flights.

As a OW Emerald, do I get access to the BUD lounge? The following from the OW website indicates that I do, but I have been caught out before when flying on a flight operated by a non-OW airline. I thought the rule was that, to get lounge access, your flight had to be marketed AND operated by the OW airline? Has this changed recently?

{My emphasis below}

Enjoy exclusive access to premium airport lounges around the world as an equivalent oneworld Emerald or Sapphire frequent flyer member. Members of oneworld airline frequent flyer programmes with the equivalent of oneworld Emerald or Sapphire status can use any lounge offered by any oneworld airline when departing on any flight marketed or operated by any oneworld member airline, no matter in which cabin class they are flying.

no problem as long it is a flight sold by Malev. It means it MUST be visible the number of Malev codeshare and not just the SU-Aeroflot number.
Anyway, if you leave LCA with a Malev boarding pass it should be clearly indicated the MA number for the 2nd leg.

I had the same experience with a 2nd leg operated by Moldavian airlines (Carpatair): After a short discussion and fast check on their screen, they letme in because the 1st and 2nd leg had both MA numbers (and were sold as Malev ticket).

The BUD Lounge isn't anything to write home about.....it's a shared Star Aliiance/Oneworld Lounge.

I also remember the rule as and not or. I certainly have been denied access to the Admirals Club in EZE as an AA EXP flying on a LA-marketed, TAM-operated flight. I'm glad you pointed this out.

I might fly SYD-NAN on QF-coded/FJ-operated service just to have a massage and lunch in the QF First Lounge

Thanks for the feedback. I'll post back here and let you know how I get on! ;)

Well, now it is OR.
See here:http://www.oneworld.com/ffp/lounge-access/

On the other hand, for BUD lounge, it says only marketed (because many are codeshare or third-party operated!):
when travelling on any Malév flights marketed by Malév and scheduled oneworld flights + 1 guest

The OP already posted the rule with the or wording in the first post, hence the discussion about whether this has changed

Update

Well, in the end, at check-in in LCA, I was issued with a Malev BP for my onward flight BUD-SVO. The BP shows an SU flight number (not the Malev codeshare I had booked on) and my BA EC number.

The ladies at the lounge in BUD were very polite and asked me whether I had booked on the Malev codeshare. When I confirmed I had, and also showed them my BA EC card, there followed about 10 minutes of telephone calls, consultations of handbooks etc., but I was allowed in with a smile and an apology for the delay. :)

Thanks for providing feedback and real-life happy end:)

Well, then it shows that the new wording of lounge access policy is really in effect, at least at BUD. It's good.
