It looks like LAX and JFK will be the connecting points.

I would like to think so, but given how airlines codeshare with everyone these days it could be a simple commercial agreement.

Yeah, I guess you're right. I guess an ATI or JV application would be a stronger sign.

ow allows jv with airlines in other alliances. though it's a stranger sign, it doesn't really guarantee anything for alliance membership wise
