Ex-AMM ticketing

Does anyone know if ex-AMM OWE ticketing can still be done outside the country? I have done ex-AMM fares before but my travel agent now says that they can only issue these fares at the country of sale fare...

I have just checked on the OneWorld web site - there has been no recent change to the rules
So I think you agent is mistaken
And of course, you can always use the web site yourself to purchase the ticket yourself

I have had UK travel agents issus these tickets, most recently in 2009, without problem. And I wanted to check that there wasn't any new SOTO restrictions. Fare should be country of departure, not country of sale.

If ex-UK XONEX price is cheaper than ex-AMM price,
London travel agent sells XONEX at ex-AMM price.

When ex-UK LONEX/MONEX fare were very cheap a few/several years ago,
I guess, London travel agent could sell ex-AMM LONEX/MONEX at ex-AMM fare rather than ex-UK fare.
