Which OW miles program? or AY to BA/JL points conversion
 

I am going to fly ARN > HEL > NRT on business and I'm going to enroll in a program. I receive almost 40,000 points (AY) which puts me only a handful points away from silver.

I have to admit I'm not that impressed with AY in general (I'm *A gold and ST E+) and I have zero (= 0) miles on OW airlines til now.

So I'm considering whether I should collect these points on FinnairPlus, BA EC or JMB. My question is which OW program should I choose, if:

1) I want to reach higher tier asap (domicile in EU)
2) what is the point conversion between AY to BA / JL?

What is your intended use of the miles you earn?

Not sure what you mean.... You can't transfer points from one program to another.
