They do look terrific, I agree. It looks (from the pictures) like there is plenty of storage space and good privacy ^^^
However, I'm disappointed and a bit surprised that this is (so far as I know) only for the 777-300. I think the 787 really needs these seats, since except for the seats it's an extraordinary plane.

With Cathay and JAL basically having stunning business class cabins
Qatar joining
and with decent business class cabins on all other airlines
Oneworld only dominance will be average quality of carriers!
3 of the six 5 star airlines and Hainan is not going to join the other to so hopefully 4

It does seem that the recent and upcoming improvements in the CX, JL and AA business class seats augur well for OW.

The part I am looking forward to most is the mattress pad on JAL C. It would make their seats one of the most comfortable bed to sleep in. That's above competitors' offering in their current J products

Most recently I flew ow explorer (since axed by AA) awards and couple of DONEx. Flew CX, JL, QF, MH, AA, LA and BA multiple times. Here is my ranking for J products.
1. CX
2. AA
3. QF
4. JL
5. BA
NOTES: on AA, majority of flights were on 77W; JL were mostly regional, except DEL-NRT & NRT-DEL.
I think because AA’s 77W are newer than CX’s Cirrus and found to be better. But CX won on services.
Flew MH from LHR-KUL and KUL-PER, not enough to rank it.

What's the current J ratings in Asia Pacific? Have flown CX in J few times, it's good but nothing astonishing (CX rules on the ground with lounges though).

The B/E SuperDiamond seats is in both the Qatar A350 and AA 787, probably Qatar version is slightly better.
Qantas has its VantageXL Business Suite in the A330 and slightly revised in the B787

Recently JJ from SCL-GRU on the 767. Configuration of 2-2-2. Seats were reasonably comfortable with full recline. IFE in seatback was decent although my remote didn't work and had to use the touch screen. Amenity kit was basic with comforter and pillow provided. I'd compare it to the AA 767 or slightly better.
