Upgrades on BA
 
Im an AA platinum and have a flight from LHR to JFK on BA. Can I request an upgrade?

You are not eligible for an upgrade on BA just because of your AA status (just like you are not eligible for an international upgrade on AA just because of your AA plat status). You can use your AA miles to upgrade on BA if your BA flight is booked in an eligible fare class. See:
