Circle Pacific and Caribbean

Does anyone know whether Puerto Rico is considered part of the Caribbean or North America for the Oneworld Circle Pacific fare? I have opposite answers from Qantas and Cathay. One of them must be wrong!

From the Circle Pacific rules:

D. Travel via the Caribbean, Bermuda and Central America is not permitted on any fare.

Puerto Rico is located in the Caribbean Sea and is considered part of the Caribbean by AA, haven't really thought of how it wouldn't be part of the Caribbean. Confusion may result from the fact that the Caribbean is included in North America for the oneworld explorer fare. As you can see above travel via the Caribbean is specifically prohibited for Circle Pacific.

Thanks for that. I figure AA should know so I'll treat that as definitive

Depending on what you are trying to achieve, and where you are originating from - a Oneworld Explorer ticket, including the DEL-ORD segment might be suitable

See this thread

Will allow the Caribbean, more stopovers, travel West of Thailand in Asia, not mileage based... (see post #4 in the thread)
