Valid Partner Award Routing with Mexicana
 
Considering Mexicana has joined OW now, would the following routing be valide for a Partner Award ticket (using either AA or BA miles) at the 25k miles economy rate?

LHR-MAD-MEX-AUS (assuming there is a direct MEX-AUS flight)

I'm considering creative ways to get from the UK-USA in June since award flights are scarce.

According to the iPhone oneworld app, there isn't. As for the legality of the routing, as long as you're not attempting a stopover it would seem legal, though certainly a bit roundabout.
