Interesting - you're the first person I know of who prefers the Deutz vintage to the Krug (non-vintage).
although i usually drink krug at home and not in the air...i am sometimes of this view also although it depends on the vintage year ...i have found the Krug Cuvee style is very similar year after year regardless of how many years they are pulling from at the time (6 or 7 or 10)...now vintage Krug..ahhh.... i love my champange old and so i find that Krug puts some newer vintages into its Cuvee that give it a more youthful taste that I often like but do not prefer over vintage from a great year... |
