Newbee question about booking
 

Hey all,

i'm about to book my ticket. We leave next September for an entire year. Our first flight is LHR-CPT on 01SEPT. The thing is that we will be travelling for an entire year. How do I book the other segments now if they are more than 330 days out? Should I just pick earlier flight for now and get change them for free later?

Obviously, I want to book now to save the 10%. On three tickets in C, the savings is a decent amount.

How should I book this?

You basically have two choices:

1. You just book the flights with dummy dates and change the dates for free later.
2. You book those flights as open segments which can also be turned into proper flights for free later on.

Just make sure you don't do a no-show when working with dummy dates.

Also note that when departing in J from the UK you will be up for a high APT of GBP 100. Can be avoided when transiting.
