Help me decipher fare rules (NZ but any guidance is helpful.

On EF the stopover rules read as follows:
UNLIMITED STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING UNIT AT
USD 400.00 EACH
IN HNL OUTBOUND.
AND - UNLIMITED FREE STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING
UNIT IN AKL/RAR.
AND - UNLIMITED FREE STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING
UNIT
IN HNL INBOUND.
AND - UNLIMITED STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING UNIT
AT USD 100.00 EACH
CHILD/INFANT DISCOUNTS APPLY.

for that bottom at 100 USD each line should I take that to mean any other valid connection city not otherwise specified above or should I read it that stopovers are only allowed in HNL RAR AKL as those are only cities specified.

Need to see routing rules as well and also HIP rules. This is probably the wrong forum for this question FYI.

So looks like you can stop at any of those connection cities so long as it doesn't violate HIP.

And provided that connection city currently has NZ service (even by codeshare). For example you cannot stop in PPT as NZ does not fly AKL-PPT-LAX either own metal or codeshare, even though the fare provides for that. I think the only valid connecting cities currently for AKL-LAX are RAR, HNL, SFO for example. You can check the Air NZ web sits to see currently operating routes. The fare conditions cover everything that has been filed for a fare, and often have combinations that cannot be booked :this week: (maybe will be in the future, or was "last week.

Thanks all!
One last HIP question...
The cost of a ticket ORD-SFO-SYD is cheaper than ORD-SFO + SFO-SYD (as is the case for a stopover in AKL, RAR and HNL btw)
Does that present a problem?
