Woolens in Sydney

Can someone recommend a shop anywhere within a 100 km radius of Sydney where I can buy woolen pullovers / slip overs etc.. as well as pure wool blankets? Not looking for fancy stuff with fancier price tags - more Gowlings style (RIP) than David Jones. Am willing to drive up to 100k (heck, perhaps even further) for the real McCoy!

Highly likely to be made in China if you do find.

Obviously would rather it be made in Australia of Aussie wool, but I know that is wishful thinking. I still use a woolen blanket made in Tassie, which I had bought from Gowlings almost 25 years ago!

But since I will be in Sydney for only 6 days, I do not think a mail order shop will work. Also, I would prefer to check whether it fits me before I complete the purchase.

If you have any suggestions for a brick and mortar shop, I will be ever so grateful.

Consider op-shops. I've seen some lovely vintage Australian-made woolen blankets in op-shops for cheap.

10 years ago at the motorway service area in Marulan I encountered an Australian man hand-making woolen hats and socks. I bought a pair for $5.
