Noumea costs for food & drink
 

Does anyone know how expensive food and drink is in Noumea in New Caledonia? Is it similar sorts of prices to somewhere like Brisbane or the Gold Coast?

I'll be doing a mixture of eating out and cooking, just trying to figure out a rough budget as compared to what it's like on the Australian east coast!

Significantly more expensive than Brisbane/Gold Coast. Budget double, though depends what you buy (much of the food is imported from Australia/NZ). Stick to fish instead of meat, for example.
