US Bank Flexperks tickets - FAQ

Is there a FAQ somewhere on tickets booked with Flexperks points? Things like mileage earned, procedures on ticket changes, cancellations etc.?

My understanding is that the points are redeemable as cash-equivalent (Travelocity dollars). So the underlying rules should be the same as the fare class would normally dictate. Is this not correct?

I believe you are correct. All the rules are per the airline's policies. It is just like a paid ticket in the airline's eyes - kind of like the TYP tickets.

I was looking yesterday however for a flight and they don't allow you to fly on all fares from all airports. They found nothing from my smaller hometown airport even though there are 3 NW Airlink flights a day from here. I tried to multiple destinations and nada. Too bad. It means I will need to fly from MSP to use the flexperks points. Can't complain though - for minimal spending I got a total of over 60K flexpoints on three different cards.
