Success with "Linking" WP and SM accounts??

Success with "Linking" WP and SM accounts??
Tried to link my accounts online, link them here and got an error "The application is experiencing technical difficulties - please try again later."
anyone had success?

I linked my son's account first (he has the least miles) and waited a few days. No issues, then linked Mrs. Crazy Dave, my daughters, and my account yesterday. Very easy, done in minutes.

50/50 so far, had no problem with my account . But my wife had her middle name in her Delta account and she got a no name match error.

Worked fine for my and MrsXS' accounts. I transferred the 4500 orphan NW miles she had purely from WorldPerks U and OLCI bonuses from award travel during promos over to her DL program which has been her long-time primary program.
Likewise I first moved my relatively few remaining DL miles over to NW, and then bounced everything back over to DL due to better availability for a low-tier reward.

Same for me. Took about 3 minutes last night. I am not sure what it does as I have 0 miles with DL since I left the East Coast 14 years ago, but it's going to be all DL now so I figured why not do it. Worked seamlessly for me.

For reasons unclear to me, Delta and NW list my names differently, so no transfers for me. Since I have both Delta and NW accounts with miles, will have to figure out how to fix this before earning on NW is no longer possible.

Middle initial on my DL account, not on my NW account. Still no problems. Transferred some miles from DL to NW today to top off my account and book an award ticket.

Brian_is_Flyin, one cause of that error message is that either the NW or the DL account no longer exists, for one reason or another.
