60 Segments required for Silver?!
 

Was reading the WorldTraveler from MSP to DTW this morning and happened to notice this misprint:

Hope that link plays out ok. The error is really small compared to the rest of the crap in the article. "Best of" how an airline can keep ticking off its Elites. I'm getting tired of reading that claim when its not even marginal at best right now. Now which evil do I want to take from MSP to xxx? UA or AA on the suicide trip through ORD...

But that 60 segments oughta deter any casual traveler on NW this month from even trying to give them some business.

I would guess this is just a typo since it also says Gold is 60 segments.

In Delta's inflight ragazine it shows 30 segments = Silver.
Just a typo.

Got my email yesterday -

"Remember, you can now re-qualify for Silver Elite status by earning 25,000 Elite Qualification Miles or 30 Elite Qualification Segments now also earned on Delta flights."

The bad news...

"Also, the Silver Elite mileage bonus will change from 50% of mileage flown to 25%."
